The story of Sweet Sensation began in early 2022, a tale of musical camaraderie and creative synergy. It was at the Kava Garden that Olsen, Authur, and Thomas first united to form the nucleus of the band. Their ranks soon swelled with the addition of Ben Qalo and Max Rabaka from Raiwaqa. The name, inspired by Eddie Lovette’s reggae love song, was a unanimous choice, reflecting the band’s ethos of creating music that touches the soul.
Today, Sweet Sensation stands as a beacon within the Fijian music scene with their music a diverse tapestry woven from different genres, defying categorization and continually evolving. The band with core members Olsen Sefo, Authur Penjueli, and Thomas Waqairawai still at the helm.
