Dani Liu, along with her partner Cristian, turned a period of uncertainty into an opportunity, giving birth to Bliss Fiji in 2020. This venture wasn’t just a business; it was a realization of a dream, a journey towards embracing a lifestyle that resonates with the gifts of nature.
The Genesis and Growth of Bliss Fiji
Dani and Cristian, initially jobless due to the pandemic, channeled their love for natural living and DIY into creating products they personally longed for. Their range spanned from natural mosquito repellents to tinted lip balms, soaps, deodorants, and eventually, enchanting candles.
Navigating through the challenges of product packaging, finances, and social media management, the couple’s perseverance paid off. In 2022, Bliss Fiji was awarded the “Fijian Made” certification by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport (MTTT), an accolade that heralded orders from shops and resorts.
By 2023, the brand’s footprint had expanded to several boutique stores and resorts, leading to the welcoming of their first full-time employee, Salma, whose craftsmanship further elevated Bliss Fiji’s products.
For Dani Liu, Bliss Fiji is more than a brand. It represents a personal journey of rediscovery and a harmonious lifestyle with nature. Transitioning from a career in tourism to entrepreneurship, Dani found joy and fulfillment in nurturing Bliss Fiji, enriched by interactions with vendors, customers, and supportive organizations.
